The Last Word Long Beach is a luxury full service boutique hotel in the guise of a small tucked away getaway. We found this gem located on the white sand beaches and immediately were enchanted with its local charm.
The hotel is small and more personalised than a large hotel. It had all the conveniences we like in a large luxury resort but on a small scale and best of all no crowds. The staff was available to help personalise our visit to the area. They helped to acquaint us with the area and find some local treasures that were off the beaten path.
Our room was very large and designed with many creature comforts in mind like under floor heating, air conditioning and heated towel rails. We had a king size bed and bathroom with separate toilet, bath and shower. It had Wi-Fi access and an iPod dock if we wanted to stay connected.We enjoyed being directly on the beach and had an unobstructed view of the sea.
The views from our room were incredible and we could walk directly from our room to the beach or sit on the patio and watch the waves roll in. The beach was ideal for sunset walks as it stretched many kilometers in both directions.
The Manageress helped us with making arrangements to see local areas and told us that the tour groups could that offer several custom packages just for hotel guests. We were quite excited as there were many local wineries within short driving distance where we were able to go for tastings and tours.
All our meals were included and the warm hearted housekeepers were available to prepare things as we liked.
Our stay was definitely too short and our time away at The Last Word Long Beach comes with the highest recommendation for luxury, service and hospitality.
