We’ve got the most exciting itinerary, theme days, a host to prepare your onboard meals, and Friday and Saturday nights in Athens!
Day 1
5 p.m.: Board your private yacht and meet your crew and fellow Gay Sailing guests. Before we go out for the night in Athens, please enjoy a welcome glass of prosecco. Meet your fellow guests at the marina at 13:00, drop off your bags, and then head to one of the many gay beaches. What better way to begin your Greek queer sailing vacation?!
Day 2
We’ll set sail for the port of Megalochori on Agistri island after checking in. Before dinner in a traditional Greek taverna, settle into your boat with sunset cocktails.
Day 3
Hydra is a spectacular little port with plenty of action in the harbour! After securing a docking location, you can explore the cobblestone streets, take a donkey ride up the hill, cliff jump, or explore the rugged coastline. If you want to spend an afternoon sipping cocktails, head over to Mandraki Beach Club or take their fast boat, which departs every 30 minutes. The sunset from Hyrda is breathtaking!
Day 4
Spetses is the Saronic Riviera’s St Tropez and the playground of the rich and famous. You can rent a quad to explore beyond the port, or you can stay close to home and explore the streets with their wonderful array of boutique shops. There are numerous restaurants, bars, and clubs to choose from if you want to party the night away.
Day 5
Depending on the weather and what the group wants to do, we can either go to Porto Heli for day beds at Nikki Beach Club on the mainland and then enjoy the chic nightlife, or we can go to the uninhabited island of Dokos for an afternoon of swimming, sunset views from the top of the hill, and a beach Braai (BBQ).
Day 6
Despite the fact that we’re on the mainland, you’d think you were on a lovely island. Dress in your finest whites for our legendary White Party! Before dinner, start with cocktails on your boat, then head to some of the busier bars and clubs. It’s the best of the Riviera’s dining and partying.
Day 7
A bustling island with plenty of life. You can climb the clock tower for a birds-eye view of the Riva, take a quick ferry ride across the channel to wander the Lemon Forest, or hire a scooter and find Poseidon’s Temple ruins. After a day of swimming, activities, and cocktails on the boat, you’ll have worked up an appetite for one of the traditional tavernas.
Day 8
We have a great sail back to Athens, stopping halfway for lunch and a swim stop in a protected bay. We’ll return to Alimos Marina in time for cocktails and head out into the capital. Dress up, as we’re not done yet! After dinner, there are plenty of rooftop bars, or back to the boat to relax. Sadly, it’s time to say goodbye. Check-out is at 9 am.
