Gay Ex-pat in Amsterdam?

Spring has arrived, and now is an excellent time to share a few details in the Gay Expats in Amsterdam group on Facebook!

In Amsterdam, there are many people coming and going who are looking for and offering rooms and apartments for rent. Anthony strongly advises visiting Homes for Queers Amsterdam for a dedicated housing page. However, if you’re looking for a place to stay, please include the hashtag #lookingforaccomodation in your post. If you’re renting out a room, include the hashtag #offeringaccomodation in your post. This makes it much easier for people to search on their facebook group.

If you are looking for health resources in the Amsterdam area, please visit www.rozeinwit.nl for a list of LGBT+ friendly and ally doctors.

Please visit www.ggd.amsterdam.nl for STD/SOA testing for all genders on the spectrum and those who are not.
PreP resources in Amsterdam can be found at www.prepnu.nl.

If you’re looking for queer-focused workplace coaching or caregiver coaching, go to www.talkingstorms.com.
Visit http://psychologistinamsterdam.com for certified psychological support on a variety of topics ranging from transition to expats to loneliness.

Please be considerate of others in the facebook group. They do state that any trolling will result in immediate removal and blocking from the group. There are no forewarnings.

Anyone who wants to meet others socially and wants to organise a drink/borrel should not hesitate to do so. Make an event, post it here, and we’ll all do our best to attend! Anthony Hodge
